Smackin Mack's is a MUST STOP anytime I am home! They definitely give me my fried food fix...lol. There is always a line in the drive through but honestly what do you expect?!? It's worth the wait! The staff are friendly and the service is good. I've eaten inside and ordered through the drive thru and they haven't missed yet!
I use the drive-through for this visit. I also ordered the kids meal drink. The reason why I chose this location was because of the menus that were on several sites stated that the kids meal was $5.99. This included two pieces of fish, french fries and a small drink. The prices are not correct and have been increased which I understand with everything that's happening today. The new price for this kids meal is $9.29 plus tax. The customer service was really good at the window and it was fast. Does this match what was given in the kids meal? In my opinion kind of not it's kind of expensive for kids meal but the food was good.
The food was really good. The customer service was very friendly and patient. The restaurant is nicely decorated. The mac and cheese bites were excellent and innovative. The poboys were delicious, and im not usually a big fan. I would definitely order the poboy again.
This is a local family owned seafood/cajun restaurant. This restaurant has a decent sized dining area and also offers a drive through pick up. The dinning area is very clean (did not see the peanut shells on the floor like I heard about) and has a television. It has some awesome decorations featuring funny and sarcastic signs. The restaurant has parking spots designated only for it in the small strip mall that it is located. The staff here is friendly. The menu is full of cajun favorites and fried foods. i went with the corn nuggets, oyster po boy, and onion rings. The onion rings were homemade. The flakey kind that are hard to come by. I loved them. They are a must if you eat here. The po' boy was pretty good too. You can choose the consistently of your oysters which I chose medium. I think they were a bit on the hard side though, but still a lot better than many other places. The corn nuggets were good too. You get decent sized servings and they offer specials and a few combos. This is definitely a place worth checking out to satisfy your cajun/seafood craving. I really enjoyed my meal here and sure that you will too. I can not wait to go back.
